SFI Engineers award

Science Foundation Ireland (SF!) is calling for Limerick's aspiring female engineers to apply for its 2006 Young Women in Engineering Scholarship.

The closing date for applications is June 30 at5pm.

The award is aimed at attracting and encouraging more high-achieving young women into third-level engineering disciplines. The scholarships are sponsored by Dell who will supply successful applicants with Dell Precision M20 notebook computers.

Up to 10 scholarships will be awarded in August 2006.
